The Fox River Runners Boat Club is a group of people from Omro and the surrounding areas who want to help improve boating on the nearby Fox River for everyone. We hold an annual Corn Roast on the third Saturday in August to raise money to fund these activities.
We meet monthly on the first Monday of the month at local establishments near Omro at 7 p.m. We do not meet November through February, but start again in March to plan for the year. The April 6th, 2026 meeting will be held at Wedgewood Golf Course and Grill in Omro. To check on meeting locations for future months (if not posted,) please send a request via the Contact page.
Our activities include:
Purchase, place, and maintain navigational buoys in the Fox River
Improve and maintain local boat ramps
Support the Eureka Lock and Berlin Boat Club organization
Improve and maintain sea walls in our local parks
Serve as a voice for boaters with city, county & state governments and with the WI DNR
Stay on top of major issues facing the Fox River
Work closely with other area boat clubs to promote Omro parks and businesses
